기대가 너무 컸던 탓일까.
수를 기대하고 갔다가 연산을 듣고 온 느낌이다.

강연 내용과 무관하게,

사소한 불씨들이 되살려지는 효과만으로도 무의미한 시간은 아니었고,
더해진 도서 목록이 주는 즐거움까지 생각한다면 뭐.....

(이렇든 저렇든 수학은 그 단어만으로도 여전히 내게 강력한 마력을 지니는 터라.)
덕분에 오랜만에 다시 골드바흐의 추측도 꺼내 들지 않았던가.

(몽블랑과 달, 그 둘의 조합이면 충분히 유혹적이리라 예상했었는데)
지난 행사 때 본 시계들이 너무 인상 깊었던 탓인지 이번에는 그다지 인상적인 제품은 없었다.

만년필도 내 취향과는 거리가 좀 있었고,
여성향수도 흔한 향인듯 싶었고.

그나마 기억에 남은 건 달에 관한 아래 내용 정도.....

January:Ice Moon

망설이다 포기했던 IL DIVO 공연 생각이 나서,
일단 예매는 해 두었는데,
연이어 들려오는 다양한 11월 12월 공연 소식에,
마음이 흔들린다.

여러가지 면에서 다 가는 건 무리일듯 싶은데.....
(아마도 고심하다 결국 가게 될 듯 싶지만.)

매혹적인 시간이었다.

끊임없이 미소지으며 무대를 누비는 그는 장난꾸러기 소년 같았고,
(매력적인 드러머는 그런 면에서 그보다 한 수 위인듯 보였고,)
마지막 앵콜곡으로 <ONE MAN'S DREAM> 이 곡이 연주되었으니.....

사람과 사물,
그 모든 영역에서,
우연으로 닿아진 것들이 벅차도록 매혹적이었기에,
나는 아직도,
우연을, 인연을, 필연을, 그리고 운명을 믿는 것인지도 모른다.

펜 구경하러 갔던 행사인데, 정작 기억에 남는 건 시계뿐.
백만원대 펜과 삼억대 시계 중 후자가 기억에 남는 건 당연한걸까.

숭례문.
2008.02.10. 20시 50분 경 발화.
2008.02.11. 02시 00분 경 다섯시간의 진화 작업을 무색케 하며 붕괴. 그리고 그로 인한 소화.


소중한 것을 지켜내지 못한 우리 모두가 죄인.

발화 시간 즈음이었던 오후 21시경 바로 그 옆을 지나면서도,
절반쯤 음악에 취해, 절반쯤 책에 취해, 눈길 한번 제대로 주지 않은,
나는 더 큰 죄인.
